ADC Launches New Community Health Outreach in Western Kenya

The African Divine Church has launched a new community health outreach program aimed at bringing free medical care, health screenings, and health education to underserved communities across Western Kenya. The program was officially inaugurated at a ceremony held at the headquarters in Gamalenga and attended by church leaders, health officials, and community representatives.

The outreach will operate through mobile clinics visiting remote villages on a regular schedule, providing consultations, basic treatments, maternal and child health services, malaria testing, HIV counselling and testing, and health education. The program will be led by the church's Health Ministry in partnership with the Bible Society of Kenya, NCCK, and county health departments.

Director of Health Mrs. Esther Achieng noted that the program would not have been possible without the generosity of members and partners who contributed funds, supplies, and professional expertise. She called on health professionals within the church to volunteer their time and skills in service of their communities.

Archbishop John Chabuga dedicated the program to God in prayer, asking that it would be a channel of Christ's healing and love to all who are served through it. The first mobile clinic is scheduled to begin operations in Vihiga County this month, with expansion to neighbouring counties in the coming quarter.
