African Divine Church Expands to New Regions in East Africa
The African Divine Church continues its remarkable geographical expansion, establishing new congregations in previously unreached areas of East Africa. This growth fulfills the vision of our founder, Archbishop Saul Chabuga, who saw ADC as a vine tree that would grow and bear fruit across the region, bringing spiritual transformation to countless lives.
In the past year alone, ADC has established 25 new congregations in Kenya, 5 in Uganda, and 3 in Tanzania, bringing our total presence to hundreds of worship centers across East Africa. This expansion has been accompanied by the training and deployment of 50 new pastors who have been equipped at our Divine Theological Training Institute to serve these growing communities.
Strategic Growth and Development
The expansion strategy focuses on areas with limited access to Christian ministry and community development services. Each new congregation is established with a holistic approach that includes spiritual nurture, educational support, health services, and community development initiatives. This integrated model reflects ADCs commitment to being a fruitful church that bears lasting fruits for Gods glory.
Archbishop John Saiya Lilege attributes this growth to the faithfulness of ADC members and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He notes that the expansion is not merely numerical but qualitative, with emphasis on making disciples who will live out the core values of faithfulness to Christ, unity in diversity, and compassion for the vulnerable. The church plans to continue this expansion momentum in the coming years.
