Special Needs Ministry

Ministering to persons with disabilities and their families. The Special Needs Ministry of ADC affirms that every person is made in the image of God and is worthy of love, dignity, and full participation in the life of the church.

We provide support groups for families, special worship and teaching programs, accessibility improvements in church buildings, and advocacy for the rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities. We also partner with schools, clinics, and other organisations serving people with special needs.

Our vision is a church in which every person — regardless of ability — is welcomed, valued, and equipped to serve, and in which the gifts of persons with disabilities are recognised and received with thanksgiving.
