About Archbishop John Chabuga

Archbishop John Chabuga serves as the current Archbishop of the African Divine Church. He was called to this office after many years of faithful pastoral and administrative service within the church, and he carries forward the vision entrusted to the founders with humility, wisdom, and energy.

Under his leadership, ADC has continued to grow — both in the number of branches and in the depth of its ministries. He has emphasised the planting of new congregations, the training of a new generation of pastors, the strengthening of the church's schools and health ministries, and the renewal of vibrant worship across the church.

Archbishop Chabuga is known as a preacher and teacher of the Word, a compassionate pastor, and a wise administrator. He provides spiritual and directional leadership for the church, convenes the Council of Archbishops and the College of Bishops, and represents ADC in national and international forums.

His heart for the church is captured in his oft-repeated encouragement to members: 'Let us be faithful to what God has entrusted to us, and let us trust Him for what is yet to come.' Under his care, the African Divine Church looks to the future with hope and confidence in the faithfulness of God.
