About World Council of Churches (WCC)
The World Council of Churches (WCC) is the broadest and most inclusive among the many organized expressions of the modern ecumenical movement, a movement whose goal is Christian unity. The WCC brings together churches from more than 110 countries and territories across the world, representing over 500 million Christians.
ADC values its participation in the WCC as an expression of our commitment to the unity of Christ's body and to common witness with sisters and brothers across the world. Through the WCC, ADC participates in global conversations on mission, faith and order, justice and peace, and inter-religious dialogue.
